Rivendell Cherokee MS
Cherokee is a special boy, with a special story. The MS behind his name stands for Midgard Stud, as this is a partnership.
Cherokee is a son of our stallion Rivendell Chancelor, who in 2020 moved back to Europe to continue his competitive showjumping career with Matthew Mosisson. In South Africa, this stallion competed successfully in the open clases up to 1.50m.
Rivendell Lamborghini
Lissabon’s father, Lordanos, continues to entrench himself as one of the finest sires of show-jumpers in Europe, having already produced more than 23 licensed sons and scores of champions at all levels. His damsire Sion is a remarkable all-rounder who passes on plenty of “blood” and excellent gaits. The granddam Reinata (by Contender) is a full sister to the international competition mare Charisma (Markus Fuchs). This performance dam-line is further anchored by jumper breeding legends, Grannus and Siegesmund.
Rivendell Chancellor
Chancellor is by the young Holstein Clintord, by Clinton I. Clintord is a showjumper descended from the finest Holsteiner lineage. Clinton was a highly successful international show jumper with more than 200,000 Euros in lifetime earnings. Two full siblings of Clinton have won at Grand Prix level and at S *** level.
Rivendell Numerology
Numerology is a bay stallion by Numero Uno out of our imported mare Calvyra Z. calvyra has been the dam of several top foals here in SA as well as in Europe. Numerology, owned and ridden by Peter Morrison in Johannesburg, is by imported semen of the legendary stallion Numero Uno.
Rivendell Braveheart
Braveheart is out of one of the most precious mares at the stud. He is half brother to Sirandipity, Numerology, Cilantro and Champagne. The difference to these siblings being the status and reputation of his sire, the formidable Balou du Rouet. Braveheart has been registered and branded Oldenburg, as well as being registered with the SAWHS.
Rivendell Quintessence
Quintessence is by Quintender, a top competition horse, two times Bundeschampionat finalist and 1.50 m jumping class winner.
Rivendell Theoden
Theoden is the last offspring of the imported Belgium stallion Titanic. Titanic was one of the best showjumping stallions ever seen in South Africa.
Rivendell Beregond
Beregond was imported in utero from Germany. He has grown into a magnificent young colt and we have high hopes for him as a future stallion at stud.
Florimon
He is an eye-catching Hanoverian stallion with an extraordinary, noble and elegant conformation. He has a fantastic character and his promising and pleasing daily training qualities show great promise. His pedigree features an exceptional bloodline combination.
