Nakoma is a special colt as he is by the stallion Rivendell Numerology, who was exported to Ireland in 2020 to continue competing there at open level with his owner and rider Peter Morrison.
Numerology is by the stallion Numero Uno. His sire Libero H (x Landgraf I) and Jos Lansink won the World Cup Finals 1994 in a phenomenal way.
Numero Uno completed his performance test triumphantly: he received a 9.0 for canter and scored an average of 8.5 for jumping components. His explosive takeoff earned him 9.0 points.
His dam line continues via the well-known stallion Farnese to the mare Fernsicht (Ladykiller xx), who is a full sister to the reputable stallion Lorenz.
Following a successful show jumping career with European Champion, Marco Kutscher, Numero Uno (pref) today has proven himself to be one of the leading sires in the world providing a stunning amount of 1.60m Grand Prix winners and Olympic Horses. Among some examples are Tamino, Tyson, Uno de la Roque, Chameur and our very own Van Gogh, who among others won the GCT in Valkenswaard, the LA Masters and the Hong Kong Masters.
Numero Uno, father of numerous approved KWPN stallions, is sire to many champions in international show jumping, ability tests and stallion approvals. Numero Uno’s offspring have earnt more than €10 million in prize money!
Numerology’s dam StPrSt Calvyra Z, was by Calvaro Z x Ramiro Z, and competed successfully at open level herself before retiring as a broodmare.
Calvaro's sire Caletto I, is famous for producing showjumpers. His mother Deka by Consul made breeding history as mother of five approved sons. Caletto I was one of the most successful horses in showjumping. Calvaro's dam Rixa, is a daughter of one of the most famous stallions, Capitol I. He produced Grand Prix jumpers and approved stallions like, Carthago Z., Cento, Cassini I, Capriol, Indoctro, Cumano etc. In Calvaro's dam lineage there is the influential Farnese son Fantus to a Hanoverian female line that carries the blood of Sesam II and Goldfisch II, one of the most influential bloodlines in Hannover.
The great damsire of Sirandipity, is the well-known stallion Ramiro Z, who in a lifespan of thirty years as a sporthorse and breeding sire earned the titles 'Stallion of the Century' and "King of Sires." His progeny can be described with one word: sublime. One of his daughters, the super-mare Ratina Z, is the dream of the show jumping world, winning double Olympic gold medals (1992 and 1996) at the Barcelona Olympics, and the World Cup of 1993. Nakoma’s dam Nachtmusiek was imported as a young mare from Germany. She successfully competed up to open level in showjumping before having a year of soundness issues, which is how she came to Rivendell for a breeding season, before hopefully continuing her showjumping career. Nachtmusiek, despite her small stature, has tremendous scope and is very brave, all qualities desired in a showjumper.
Nachtmusiek is by the stallion Nintender, who is the ultimate modern sport stallion: he combines a flawless pedigree with a high-level track record. He is already ranked among the top 100 sires worldwide thanks to his young progeny! He brings elegance, range and an outstanding rideability which make him a top stallion to breed with.
Nintender is by Namelus R, who was the Vice-champion of the KWPN approval and obtained an index of 152 for the jumping part. He was wounded at 6 years which deprived him of any competition career. His offspring brought him back to the front of the scene, as he has now been classified for 7 years in the world TOP 100 WBFSH rankings.
The interesting cross of Concorde and Joost, we also find in the dam line of Mr Blue, Clover Hill and Northern Dancer, as well as the PS Stallion Abgar who is one of top sires and grandsires of winners of the KWPN.
Nintender’s dam K-Nambia, a CONTENDER daughter - ranked 43th better sire of winners in Jumping and 24th in the Eventing on world plan WBFSH in 2017. She is also the dam of S. Nambia 56, CSO 1m60 with the American rider Kyle King, Vegas 55, CSO 1m45 and Reno 55, an approved stallion.
She comes from a very good Holsteiner line, the stam 1907, which produced the approved stallions as Consul and Collino, as well as the World Cup Winner, Anka, Marcus Ehning’s horse.
Nintender was CHAMPION of the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2004 with 10/10 for his jumping ability. He was victorious in 12 tests for young horses at 6 and 7 years old, and was the Top Price of the PSI Sales at 7 years old in 2009 for 500 000 € when he went to Denmark and then to Sweden. He is currently competing at CSI2* and 3* level, and is currently ranked 72th in the 2017 WBFSH WORLD STALLION RANKING, and has 12 of his offspring present in the Jumping rankings and 4 in Eventing.
Nachtmusiek’s dam is by Sylvio I, who was the winner of the Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf in 1990, with very high marks for his jumping ability. He finished 7th out of a group of 70 (!) stallions with an overall score of 121.50 points.
The bay stallion was known as a versatile producer of show jumping and dressage horses, even though the stallion was more used as a jumper stallion.
Silvio competed internationally with Franke Sloothaak.and is the sire of a number of stallions including Sunrise, Sir Lui, Sir Holtrup, Sergeant Pepper and Spider Murphy.
Silvio I is out of Goldkatze by the Gotthard son, Gepard who was an influential brood mare sire. Goldkatze also produced the full-brother, Silvio II who passed his performance test with the highest index for jumping at Medingen in 1994. The granddam, Rhododendron (by the Thoroughbred, Ballyboy) produced PS Palm Springs, the reserve champion at the Bundeschampionate in 1987, and later an advanced showjumper.
On the WBFSH standings for 2007, Silvio was 25but in the 2009 rankings he had dropped out of the top 30.
Silvio I stood up for stud in Germany, the U.K. and in 2013 he sold to Haras des Princes, France.
Silvio sired the 1995 Oldenburg reserve licensing champion Sir Lui van de Zuuthoeve, who become an internationally competed small tour horse under Tom Franckx.
Besides Sir Lui, Silvio's most successful dressage offspring was the Oldenburg premium stallion Sterntänzer (by Silvio I x Pik Bube I x Marlon xx), which competed at the Bundeschampionate finals three times and twice finished fourth under Katrin Burger. In 2012 the stallion sold as a 12-year old to Denmark.
Ingrid Klimke's Robinson's Santa Cruz (by Silvio) finished sixth at the 2001 Bundeschampionate and Finnish Rikka Koljonen competed the Belgian warmblood Valentino van Koekshof (by Silvio x Abiran) at the 2003 World Young Horse Championships in Verden.
Silvio I sired 26 licensed offspring and 62 state premium mares.
