Pedigree Profile of Rivendell Gottcha

Gottcha is stamped with presence and beauty. He is a warmblood pony colt by the imported section A Welsh pony stallion Nerwyn Gwyly Banc, who has been accepted by the SAWHS for warmblood pony breeding.

Gwyly has produced several welsh pony youngsters who have always been in the prizes at the horse of the year show in Johannesburg. He will now be used to produce warmblood ponies at Rivendell Stud.

Gottcha’s dam, Saffron House Tao, has produced several warmblood foals for the stud before being put to the pony stallion, and Gottcha has been her best foal to date.

Tao is by the imported trakehner stallion M.o.T Diaghilev, who himself competed successfully up to elementary level before being used as a schoolmaster. In the pedigree of Diaghilev we have many sporthorse sire names, who have over the years produced a multitude of youngsters who have excelled across all disciplines internationally.

Tao’s dam was a thoroughbred mare, who herself competed successfully in eventing.
