Rivendell Fields of Gold

D.O.B  18/11/2025 – Florimon x Dageraad Britta ( Lingh x Osimum )

Rivendell Fields of Gold combines two highly regarded dressage bloodlines, bringing together the proven Hanoverian performance breeding of Florimon with one of Rivendell Stud’s established and consistently successful dam lines through Dageraad Britta.

Sire — Florimon

Florimon is an imported Hanoverian stallion distinguished by his elegant, noble type, excellent rideability and quality of movement. He won his stallion performance test and, in his 30-day test, received particularly strong marks for his three basic gaits and rideability, including 8.0 for trot, 8.25 for canter and 8.38 for rideability. His pedigree combines Falsterbo with Lemon xx and the highly regarded Hanoverian mare family from which numerous licensed stallions and successful sport horses have emerged.

Florimon has been used successfully at Rivendell to produce modern, athletic dressage horses, making him an exciting complement to Britta’s established performance pedigree.

Dam — Dageraad Britta

Dageraad Britta is by the international Grand Prix stallion Lingh, out of Victoria, by Osmium. Her pedigree therefore carries a particularly strong concentration of proven Dutch dressage blood. Rivendell describes Britta as a beautiful mare and an exceptional producer, and her record as a broodmare has established a notable family within the stud.

Lingh competed internationally at Grand Prix with Edward Gal, with major successes at Dutch championship, World Cup and European Championship level. Beyond his own sport career, his pedigree and breeding record have made him an influential dressage sire.

Britta’s damsire Osmium adds another layer of proven Dutch performance breeding. Osmium was a successful young dressage horse and winner of the Pavo Cup as a four-year-old. Through his sire Olympic Ferro, the pedigree connects Fields of Gold to one of the most influential Dutch dressage lines.

A Proven Maternal Family

The particular strength of Fields of Gold’s pedigree lies not only in the individual names behind her, but in the consistency of Dageraad Britta as a broodmare.

Britta is also the dam of Rivendell Beatrix Potter, a successful dressage competitor; Rivendell Boromir, who has competed successfully in dressage and showing; Rivendell Dior, by Diamonit; and Rivendell Beetlejuice, also by Diamonit and retained by Rivendell Stud as a future replacement for her dam. Rivendell’s own records document several additional Britta offspring, demonstrating the depth and consistency of this maternal family.
