Rivendell Queen of Peace is by Highflyer, whose pedigree brings together the highly regarded dressage blood of Hotline, Rohdiamant and Calypso. This sire line combines generations selected for rideability, movement, presence and aptitude for the collected work required in upper-level dressage.

Hotline is an internationally influential dressage sire and represents the highly successful Hofrat–De Niro line. He was celebrated early in his career, becoming a licensing champion and subsequently establishing himself both in sport and through his offspring.

Hotline developed to Grand Prix level and became particularly important as a breeding stallion. His progeny have competed successfully at advanced and Grand Prix dressage, and his influence is found in modern dressage pedigrees internationally.

For Rivendell Queen of Peace, Hotline provides a valuable connection to the De Niro dressage dynasty, a line renowned for producing horses with the ability to progress through the levels and perform the demanding collected movements of Grand Prix dressage.

Rohdiamant was by the legendary Rubinstein I, making him a representative of one of the defining German dressage families. Rohdiamant himself was successful in sport and became an important sire of dressage horses and breeding stock.
