Rivendell Brown Eyed Girl
Rivendell Brown Eyed Girl
D.O.B 13/11/2025 – Florimon x Bubbling of Esbi
Rivendell Brown Eyed Girl is an exciting dressage-bred filly combining established Hanoverian and Dutch performance bloodlines.
SIRE — FLORIMON
Florimon brings proven Hanoverian dressage breeding through Falsterbo–Fidermark, together with the influential Defacto/Donnerhall line on his dam side.
His pedigree is supported by a strong Hanoverian mare family and combines qualities sought in modern dressage breeding, including movement, rideability and performance ability.
Florimon is the immediate paternal influence and represents a concentrated German dressage pedigree: Falsterbo × Defacto, with further influences from Walt Disney I and Thoroughbred blood. Rivendell records that Florimon won his stallion performance test and, in his 30-day test, received 8.0 for trot, 8.25 for canter, 7.75 for walk and 8.38 for rideability.
Falsterbo — paternal grandsire
Falsterbo was by Fidermark out of State Premium mare Bonita by Brentano II; the FEI pedigree independently confirms Fidermark × Bonita × Brentano II. This is an especially interesting part of Brown Eyed Girl’s pedigree because it brings together the F-line through Fidermark and the influential Brentano II/Bolero dressage line.
Fidermark — Falsterbo’s sire
Fidermark was a highly significant son of Florestan I, out of Watonga by Werther. His 100-day performance test produced a dressage index of 141.28, and he subsequently developed to Grand Prix level. He became an important breeding stallion, with more than 30 licensed sons reported.
That means Brown Eyed Girl carries Florestan I through Fidermark. The deeper pedigree continues through Florestan’s sire Fidelio to Furioso II, giving this branch a connection to one of the major foundation lines in modern European sport-horse breeding.
Brentano II — behind Falsterbo’s dam
Falsterbo’s damsire Brentano II was himself an important Hanoverian breeding stallion. The Hanoverian Verband records that he delivered the best dressage performance at his stallion performance test and was later named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year.
Lingh — maternal grandsire
The maternal side is particularly valuable because Brown Eyed Girl’s dam, Bubbling of Esbi, is not only a daughter of Lingh but herself competed through Prix St Georges.
Lingh (Flemmingh × Columbus) was bred in the Netherlands and trained from novice through Grand Prix by Edward Gal, becoming Gal’s first Dutch team horse. His pedigree is recorded as Flemmingh × Gazelle by Columbus × Uppercut xx.
Lingh had a distinguished international Grand Prix career. VDL records that he won multiple Grand Prix classes, was reserve champion at the World Cup Final in Las Vegas, and represented the Netherlands at the European Championship.
Flemmingh — Lingh’s sire
Flemmingh (Lacapo × Carneval) became a major KWPN dressage sire. VDL describes him as producing large, long-lined horses with three strong gaits and identifies Krack C, Lingh and Santino among his approved sons.
This makes the maternal sequence particularly compelling:
Flemmingh → Lingh → Bubbling of Esbi (PSG) → Rivendell Brown Eyed Girl
while the paternal side contains:
Florestan I → Fidermark → Falsterbo → Florimon → Rivendell Brown Eyed Girl
So rather than describing her simply as Florimon × Lingh, the fuller profile can emphasize that Brown Eyed Girl combines the Florestan/Fidermark/Falsterbo German dressage line with the Flemmingh/Lingh Dutch Grand Prix line, reinforced by the fact that her own dam Bubbling of Esbi proved herself through PSG level.
DAM — BUBBLING OF ESBI
Bubbling of Esbi, by the internationally influential dressage stallion Lingh, is a proven performance mare who competed successfully through Prix St Georges (PSG) level.
Her competition record adds an important performance dimension to Brown Eyed Girl’s pedigree: she is not simply descended from established dressage bloodlines, but is directly out of a mare proven in advanced-level dressage competition.
Through Lingh, the maternal pedigree introduces highly regarded Dutch dressage genetics. Lingh himself competed internationally at Grand Prix level and became an influential sire of dressage horses.
THE COMBINATION
Florimon × Bubbling of Esbi (Lingh) brings together two complementary European dressage families.
Brown Eyed Girl combines the Hanoverian influence of Florimon–Falsterbo–Fidermark with the Dutch performance blood of Bubbling of Esbi–Lingh.
Of particular significance is the strength of the immediate maternal performance record: Bubbling of Esbi competed through Prix St Georges, giving Brown Eyed Girl a performance-proven dam in addition to the established international dressage genetics represented throughout her pedigree.
A modern dressage pedigree combining proven performance, established European bloodlines and a PSG-performing dam.
